A BEAUTIFUL BRIDE TO BE

As caterers we obviously get to meet a lot of brides. However, when it’s one of your own it is something else entirely.

Today, Saturday 22nd May, marks the day of our glorious office manager, Becca, marrying her wonderful partner Tristan and we couldn’t be happier for them.

Becca, like many, has had to rearrange her plans for her wedding countless times. The constant waiting on government updates whilst also trying to reassure our countless brides to be has been a daunting task to say the least.

Yet here we are, the day of her wedding! A slightly reduced size, but just as full of love and vibrant as we would expect it to be from a woman like Becca.

Becca and Tristian are to marry at the glorious Crockwell Farm, in their large marquee studded with warm twinkling lights and floral hanging hoops with a view that quite frankly is second to none. Sprawling hills , forests, fields and wildflowers pepper the backdrop of the ceremony for the marriage of two of the best people we have the pleasure of knowing.

Becca has worked with Ross and Ross Events for around 5 years now and has been a driving force behind the growth and development of the company into what you see before you today. It also means she’s had rather a while to think of all those lovely details that will make her day unique.

Becca has opted for her guests to dine on long unclothed trestle tables in the stone walled ceremony room at Crockwell. Her guests will dine from the banquet tables sprinkled with all things Becca and Tristan.  Honeycomb styled candles (for B) will sit delicately on top of upturned Tea Cups (for T). Becca has lovingly personalised favours for her guests, including monogrammed handkerchiefs. Did we mention that Becca’s supremely talented mother has also handmade her wedding dress? What a beautiful personal touch!

Of course a Ross and Ross Events Office Managers wedding has to have a spectacular menu too, right? Of course! Becca and Tristan has opted to choose a tantalising three course plated meal, with some superb canapes too.

Sticky Toffee Pudding with Custard

Blueberry & Vanilla Panna Cotta & Crunchy Topping

 

As you can see the menu perfectly reflects the couples’ favourite dishes and use of hearty local produce.  As the evening progresses guests will be treated to giant sausage rolls to ensure they have the energy to keep the celebrations flowing.

Becca and Tristan will hopefully be hosting a secondary celebration in August with many more of their family and friends in a gorgeous marquee set up near their home in the Cotswolds.

We could obviously keep writing about how utterly proud, and humbled we are to witness the wedding of these two glorious people, but I am sure we have embarrassed them enough. I’m sure we will be popping some sneak peaks on social media over the next few days. In the meantime , we are sure that you will join us in wishing them a lifetime of happiness and of course… excellent food.
