Event & Wedding Caterers

Meet the Team

This is us! As always, we’re taking the mick out of each other, laughing, and having a great time!

From the core team shown here, to the ad hoc staff who supplement our crew, we all have one thing in common – we love food! Passionate about weddings and events, our unique talents combine to ensure every event is a success!

ROSS

What cog are you in the Ross and Ross wheel?

Director Extraordinaire & Head Chef – making sure the whole system runs, and preparing & developing incredible dishes

How would your team members describe you?

A creative and positive soul, Ross is most likely to be found with scraps of paper where he’s scribbled down his latest menu addition! A fair and honest boss, Ross inspires the team to continue developing and improving, whilst never forgetting our roots and core values.

What’s your ideal food-based Saturday plan?

Homemade Linguine with Crab, Garlic & Chilli Butter for Lunch. Freshly baked Cinnamon Buns with Cream Cheese for an afternoon snack. Dinner has to be at the Bell in Langford; our newly discovered favourite local restaurant.

When not on the R&R grind, where are you most likely to be found?

Eating out – it’s all market research to help with the development of new menus! Or in my garden; tending to my vegetables, pulling up weeds, or hiding in the man cave to get some peace and quiet!

BECCA

What cog are you in the Ross and Ross wheel?

Office Manager – Putting all the details into place behind the scenes

How would your team members describe you?

Our compassionate manager Becca keeps the team on the straight and narrow with her meticulous attention to detail and organisational prowess. Smiley and humorous, Becca inspires us all; getting the best out of us every day.

What’s your ideal food-based Saturday plan?

Pancakes for breakfast, with freshly squeezed orange juice and a hot cup of coffee. A quick snack of fresh fruit or scones with lashings of jam and cream (depending on how healthy I’m feeling!) to get me through the afternoon. Finally, dinner at one of the many excellent pubs and restaurants we are lucky enough to have in our local area. The Red Lion in Long Compton is a particular favourite – not least because it’s close enough to stumble home!

When not on the R&R grind, where are you most likely to be found?

Also in my garden growing vegetables, or relaxing in my hot tub! If you can’t find me there, I’ll probably be in my craft room sewing something fun.

VICTORIA

What cog are you in the Ross and Ross wheel?

Event Manager – On the floor delivering outstanding weddings and events

How would your team members describe you?

Creative and honest. Victoria likes to find creative solutions to things in life, and has a background in the arts. Also she is not afraid to speak her mind, in a positive way of course! We can’t describe Victoria without mentioning her dry sense of humour and love of food & drink and big rescue dog Blue.

What’s your ideal food-based Saturday plan?

Food for me entirely depends on the company. An ideal evening would be dinner with friends and/or family (they are a bit spread out across the country). My friends have also all come from arty & hospitality backgrounds so we love trying independent restaurants together – and normally have a whole selection of dishes to share. The Folly, Pompette or The Perch in Oxford or the Rothesay Rooms in Ballater, Scotland are all firm favourites.

A family get together would probably again be something equally vast in choice but it would be home cooked by Mum and overseen by Dad, with lovely fresh, local Scottish ingredients (and copious amounts of dry white wine)

When not on the R&R grind, where are you most likely to be found?

Outdoors, near or in water. Or Seeing/taking part in something creative. Also- does napping in the sun count as a hobby?

KATE

What cog are you in the Ross and Ross wheel?

Office Admin – providing vital support and back up to day to day operations

How would your team members describe you?

Always smiling and positive, Kate’s good at staying calm and giving the rest of the team a pep talk when everything gets stressful! She makes a mean cup of coffee – vital to keep energy levels up during the summer, and warm in the winter!

What’s your ideal food-based Saturday plan?

Fave restaurant – The Wheatsheaf, Northleach – fine cooked seasonal menus with fresh, local produce.

Dream Meal – Any homemade pasta dish, the simpler the better but no fish though! Failing that you can’t beat a good steak and salad.

When not on the R&R grind, where are you most likely to be found?

I love finding new places to visit! I really enjoy exploring the quieter corners of The Cotswolds and Gloucestershire around where I live but I always look forward to spending time with family across the UK exploring different areas and of course finding new places to eat and drink!
