We also love supporting our local Cotswolds producers and have combined some of their finest fare with our products – it’s a match made in heaven!
We – Ross Bearman and Ross Whitmill – (hence Ross & Ross Food, for any of you that were wondering) have worked in the fine food industry for over 15 years, most notably at Le Petit Blanc, Malmaison, Paxton & Whitfield and Peach Pub Company. We both share a passion for great British food and especially charcuterie using traditional artisan methods.
We met when we both opened gastro style pubs for Peach Pubs. We quickly realised we both shared an enthusiasm for fine food, a love of the Cotswolds and British Charcuterie, so decided to set up together in July 2011.
After spending three years producing our award-winning Pate and Terrines for everyone from Harrods and Daylesford Organic to little independent delis, we decided in January 2015 to focus on our wedding and event catering, and our range of Great British foodie gift boxes. We most recently launched a new range of British Roast products.
The flip side to our catering is our street food – our 10 Hour Slow Cooked Cotswold Lamb with Salsa Verde is still a firm favourite on the scene. During the Spring and Summer, we tour the country’s best food festivals and events, spreading lamb love wherever we go.
And so the story continues!
We are hugely proud to have won some great awards and fabulous accolades – here are some of the trophies adorning our kitchen shelf:-
We have worked super hard since starting the business to get to where we are today and been lucky enough for others to have recognised all of our hard work and dedication. It has been a massive group effort and we will continue to bring you exciting and delicious food.
We take our Food Safety very seriously here at Ross & Ross Food.
We have consistently achieved top marks from West Oxfordshire District Council since we have started.
The environment and its protection are very important issues, and we do our best to be as environmentally friendly as we can.
We source all of our ingredients and products from the excellent local producers that the Cotswold has to offer, meaning that there are very few food miles involved. Some of them are even walking distance!
If you have suggestions for ways we can reduce our carbon footprint, let us know!
Not only do we love fine food and supporting local Cotswold producers, we are also the proud sponsors of the Chadlington Football Team.
